Welcome Nicole Moll – Our New Executive Shelter
Shelter from the Storm Ministries welcomes new Executive Director, Nicole Moll. Nicole brings a strong background in both ministry and non-profit work. She most recently was the Recreation Supervisor with the Village of DeForest overseeing all adult and youth programs, staff and community events. She is also the founder of Sun Prairie’s non-profit organization called Box of Balloons, Inc. Box of Balloons gives birthday parties to children in need partnering with community social workers and advocates such as Shelter from the Storm Ministries. Nicole has worked in church ministry and volunteers with her family at Road Home. She has a Bachelor’s degree from UW- Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UW-Madison.
Nicole is excited to join the Shelter From the Storm Ministries team, and explains, “I am passionate about social justice and believe every single person has a right to housing. I believe when people feel loved, connected and are filled with the hope of Jesus lives can be restored. I am so excited to not only partner with all the amazing people at Shelter from the Storm Ministries but to be a bridge in our community and build the relationships inside and outside the walls of the shelter.”
Shelter From The Storm Ministries, Inc. (SFTSM) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit ministry incorporated in Wisconsin, led by a local volunteer Board of Directors and Executive Team, with no national affiliation. SFTSM is a Christian organization made up of various religious affiliations who have come together to address the problem of homelessness for single moms and their children.
